We were given an in-depth overview of the company history, attended a question & answer session with a representative from the marketing department, and an overview of products from their most profitable lines. We were taken through the basics of the company, including their past, present, and future. We then broke into three groups related to our majors including marketing, management, and finance. While in these groups we were able to talk to an employee of Steelcase in a one-on-one setting to ask any questions we felt were relevant to our future. Lastly, we took a tour of their building and were able to test out some of their innovative furniture. It was a great experience for all, and will be included in the pledge process for all future pledges.

-Steve Burrill

PCT National Conference

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 332px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_tby-U0nJ1WE/TQkaDM5Vm7I/AAAAAAAAABA/TI7Awb6G8CM/s400/DSC06733.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5550996658014493618" />
The Phi Chi Theta National Meeting was a great experience those of us who went from the Zeta
Epsilon chapter. The national convention was held in Orlando, FL, within walking distance from Universal Studios. In attendance were actives, advisors, alumni, and honorary guest members. While there we were able to seek advice from other chapters of Phi Chi Theta, talk about personal and professional goals for ourselves and our fraternities, meet new people, as well as network with other chapters and discuss important topics and future plans. The national meeting also gave us a chance to meet with the Executive Board and participate in its re-elections. Before leaving we were given awards for our most recent success in the fraternity. There were many awards given to students, alumni, and chapters, in addition to Phi Chi Theta Educational Foundation scholarships. The national trip reminded us how important this fraternity is nationally and locally. It was organized to remind us of our business goals and to allow us to network with business professionals, alumni, and students.

-Ricky Guerra

PCT Central Regional Conference

Last weekend 9 members of the Zeta Epsilon Chapter took a trip to Kalamazoo, Michigan for the PCT Central Regional Conference which was held at the Radisson Hotel. We would just like to thank everyone who was in attendance for all of their help and we look forward to implementing some of the ideas we recieved in the near future.

Winter Rush 2009

The Grand Valley State University Chapter of Phi Chi Theta needs pledges for the Winter 2009 semester.
